Posh On Her Weight

With the size zero debate still on the rage, Victoria Beckham’s teeny frame has been a hot topic.
But is the star really struggling with an eating disorder?
The dieting first started in the mid 90s, Posh revealed to the latest issue of heat magazine:
“I became obsessed with what I looked like. I would look in the mirror and check the size of my bottom, see if my double chin was getting smaller.
“I began living on vegetables and nothing else. But it never occurred to me that I had an eating disorder.”
It was then Posh was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, a condition that could affect her ability to have children.
“I did start eating more after that,” Vic told the mag. “But the damage had been done. All I would eat was vegetables, chicken, fruit and fish.
“It freaked me out having to eat proper food because I hadn’t for so long.”
Now, Vic says her relationship with food is better, but she still carefully controls what she eats:
“I do control my eating. But I think there is a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat.”
