Former Playboy model, reality TV star and singer, Willa Ford, has agreed to play the main part in an independent movie based on the life of Anna Nicole Smith.
Ford’s representative confirmed the news in a report published in Wednesday’s edition of Daily Variety.

According to the paper, Ford, who gained fame as the Bad Girl of Pop, having released an album containing the hit single I Wanna Be Bad, in 2001, will start shooting the production directed by Keoni Waxman, next week.
The production entitled “Anna Nicole” will cover all of the blonde’s adult life, from Playboy to Guess Jeans to billionaire husbands to egregious plastic surgery to drunkenness and reality TV shows until her sudden death on February 8. No further casting has yet been announced, but it has been reported that veteran actor Richard Herd will play late billionaire Marshall in the film.
The film, “Anna Nicole,” is produced by Jack and Joseph Nasser with Elie Samaha executive producing and Keoni Waxman directing, according to Variety reports.
Ford, whose real name is Amanda Lee Williford, appeared as a “celebrity dancer” last year on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” and has hosted several reality television shows.
Besides a strong physical resemblance between Willa Ford and Anna Nicole Smith, Ford has too posed nude for Playboy.
The news follows a Bahamian judge’s ruling that Smith’s former boyfriend Larry Birkhead was the father of her seven-month-old daughter Dannielynn.
According to reports, another biopic about Anna Nicole Smith might have Courtney Love, Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain’s former wife, playing the main part while Owen Wilson is a potential Larry Birkhead.
A film insider is quoted by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying: “Courtney is flattered to be in the frame as she had a lot of respect for Anna. Courtney feels she can relate to her tragedy.
“Owen Wilson is also being lined up to possibly play Anna Nicole’s former love Larry Birkhead.”
