Katherine Heigl Says She Will Stay On “Grey’s Anatomy”

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Reports have been circulating that Katherine Heigl wants to leave “Grey’s Anatomy,” ever since she withdrew her name from the Emmy nominations.

According to Heigl, she has no such plans. The star, who plays Izzie on the medical drama, says she will “of course” return to the show that helped make her famous. That doesn’t mean, however, that she isn’t getting lots and lots of movie offers.

Heigl has starred in “Knocked Up” and “27 Dresses” since she started on “Grey’s.”

Heigl is contracted with “Grey’s” through the 2008-2009 season and is already filming episodes. In a recent interview she said the other cast members on the show are like her family and that it is a happy and joyous place to work.

Larson’s breast surgery drove Clooney away

Hollywood superstar George Clooney might have broken up with his girlfriend Sarah Larson because she underwent a breast enhancement surgery.

Larson got breast augmentation in mid-May just before Clooney broke up with her.

A source said: George really didn’t want her to get the …. job. She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed. They had a huge fight and he left the house. Sarah read in the media that they’d broken up and freaked out because George hadn’t told her anything. He had to explain himself because she’d found out with the rest of the world.

Larson, who was working as a waitress when Clooney met her, seems to be happy with her new look. A friend said: She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy. Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing.

Tatum O’Neal arrested in NYC drug bust

NEW YORK (AP) — Police say Academy Award-winning actress Tatum O’Neal has been arrested after buying crack cocaine near her home in Manhattan.

Police say the 44-year-old actress was seen making the illicit purchase at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

O’Neal, daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal, appears regularly on the cable television series “Rescue Me” and was the youngest person to win an Oscar for her role in 1973’s “Paper Moon.”

She chronicled her struggles with addiction in her memoir, “A Paper Life.”

Police could not say whether she had an attorney. Messages left for a publicist were not returned early Monday.
